The Left Turn

This may be the last post for awhile because we’re making the turn at Cape Flattery to turn into the Pacific Ocean. The cape is typically enshrouded in fog and we got lucky.

The Left Turn at Cape Flattery

At one point today we had humpback whales at all angles. I was at the helm and we slowed down to give them some distance. For me, whales seem camera shy. We also saw some orcas, dolphins, a sea otter, seals, and lots of birds.
