Congratulations on the completion of your 1st leg. Seeing the bridge from afar and then sailing under must have been exhilarating. Take care of your business in Sacramento and get back underway. Love, David and Susan.

Yay, That’s great! Glad it was a good trip. I saw a what seemed to be a westward tack or just a turn – at one point when you were out on the Pacific and wondered if you had to turn to avoid something, like a pod of whales or a freighter?

We were getting ready to sail through the night. Heading east would have taken us too close to the coast. Thus, a better option was to head southwest and turn SE first thing in the morning.
